Replacing The Belt On A 28 Snapper Is Something Wrong With My Car?

Is something wrong with my car? - replacing the belt on a 28 snapper

I have a 1994 Ford Escort 1.9. This is a small car and get great fuel economy well over 28 cities and 30 highway. A month ago, out of nowhere, I started at 37 miles per gallon, with no loss of power and 3500 miles since I changed my oil. Then two weeks later, I went and my timing belt Shere all their teeth, so they changed and replaced my water pump at the same time. Since then he has managed 41 miles per gallon and now it seems to have settled around 37 more. I do not change the plug or make changes of any kind. runs great and just want to know whether this is a sign that something it can damage my car. any help thanks.

It has happened is very likely that the mileage is correct, either because of wear or a bad sending unit in the transmission. If you have access to a GPS navigation system, you can use to determine whether the mileage is actually the same distance as GPS displays.

Do you have the tires and put a smaller tire in the car? This could be a false reading and mileage. If you are driving a lot of motorway? The traffic is easier to leave in your area, now the school?

37 miles per gallon on the highway is possible. I topped 30mpg while traveling in the Midwest at highway speeds, driving a Grand Prix-V6.

Regardless of whether you have always fared well, enjoy it!

It all depends on how you drove the car, depends on how fast or slow, and do not believe that something is wrong.
